I can remember hearing those words like it was yesterday. My Mom grew up with a love of the Circus so my parents always made a point of taking us to see it whenever possible. To me as a child, when I thought of the word Circus, it only meant one thing - Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, The Greatest Show on Earth! Of course, my favorite parts were always watching the animals but I will never be able to forget the time I got to be 'in' the Circus myself!
A couple of years ago, my parents decided to start my children off right in the circus tradition and took P1 to see The Greatest Show on Earth when it came to Dallas. She LOVED it and still talks about it years later. Each time she sees the ads come on TV that they are coming to town, she does everything in her considerable power to convince us to go. Of course, with shows like this, who can blame her?

Fun like that is not to be missed! And it can be such a great Family Tradition. Attending a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus provides more than just a night out. It creates a memory that lasts a lifetime and a tradition that can be carried on from year to year and generation to generation. And as one Mom Central Mom recently said, it is "worth every smile and mesmerized stare."
I checked the current ticket prices and was pleased to see that they really are still moderately priced but I can do you one better - I have a discount code for you from Mom Central!!

I remember going with my husband's grandfather. We were dating at the time and went to visit his grandfather and grandmother. They lived in Indiana, we in Illinois.
Their home was near a park and it just so happened that there was a circus being held while we were visiting. His Grandfather had to be close to eighty and he was so excited about the circus. Jon and I trotted along with him. I enjoyed watched the childlike joy in his face more than the circus. He lived to be in his 90's and this is one of my fondest memories of Grandpa Strombeck and the circus. Thanks, Cindi
