Friendship and Family and Loyalties and All Things Female = The Women

Looking for a good chick flick? A film about friendship and loyalties and family and all things female?

Then go see The Women.

A remake of the 1939 classic film, The Women features an all-female cast of some of my most favorite actresses, including Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Eva Mendes, Debra Messing, Jada Pinkett Smith, Cloris Leachman, Bette Midler and Candice Bergen.

It opens this week on Friday, September 12th and I cannot wait to check it out. My Mom will be in California for a couple of weeks but as soon as she gets back, we are going! It sounds like there will lots of laughs, no doubt some tears, and the chance to see if friends will indeed always be there for you. (I am betting on yes!) It is rated PG-13 and having not seen it yet, I cannot vouch for the language, sexuality or innuendo but if you are are interested in a great sounding film like this, grab a friend and GO!
