In 1976 Phyllis Brody and Evelyn Greenwald, the founders of Creativity for Kids, had a dream that their unique concept of enriching, open-ended creative activities would inspire children all around the world. With hard work, a dedicated mission and respected friendships along the way, their dream became reality. Creativity for Kids provides creative activities that allow children to celebrate their uniqueness, build self- esteem, have lots of fun and enjoy the end result of the creative process. Internationally known for superb quality, innovation and creativity, the Faber-Castell family of products remain unique throughout the world. They joined the Faber-Castell family in 1999, where their creativity and dedication to quality have flourished. Here is their Mission Statement:
Creativity for Kids wants to do their part to protect and preserve our environment as well. The packaging for their kits are made of recycled cardboard, soy-based inks are used for printing, and their instructions are printed on recycled paper. They recently eliminated the use of shrink wrap on all of their packaging which significantly reduced their use of plastics and they are constantly looking for new ways to leave a smaller footprint on the environment.
A small brochure of instructions and ideas is included with the kit. All of the ingredients conform to ASTM D-4236 art material safety guidelines and all ingredients are listed on the package.
Creativity for Kids has provided imaginative, high quality, innovative creative activity products for children for more than 30 years so they really know what they are doing. I can only imagine my daughter on Christmas morning as she opens the box. She will be beside herself with joy over this set that allows her to make herself more beautiful and have her very own spa, just like the grown-up ladies do! I like the idea that the polish, soap and other products meet our US standards for safely and allow her this chance to express her own personal style in a myriad of ways. Like the adage for Creativity for Kids says... just add imagination!
