Invisible Gloves That Last! -Review & Giveaway

I really could not have said it better myself. Before I became a Mom, I worked for a fantastic Allergy and Pulmonary doctor. I was his allergy shot supervisor for most of that time. As such, my hands were always exposed to alcohol, allergens and soap and water. Sometimes they would crack and bleed which was a real problem. I could wear gloves but they provided their own problems. One day, one of our drug reps came by with some sample of Gloves in a Bottle. Not Your Mama's Suave - Product Review

Mom Central recently offered me the chance to review three Suave shampoo/conditioner types as well as mousse, hair spray and deodorant. I have to tell you, I have had such fun with them all!

Here’s a pic and list of what I recently received for review:

Here is what I found:

As you are likely aware, Suave is a product that has been around for quite some time. It has a low price point and easy accessibility that can occasionally be a deterrent to some people. If you are a woman and especially a Mom though, Suave has focused their sites on you and how they can help you feel and be beautiful. You can check out Suave.com for product information and more. Plus, on the site there is a Beauty Profiler, designed to help each individual with their needs.

They have hair, skin, and deodorant products for women as well as products specially designed for Kids and Men. And they have a money=back guarentee if you are not completely satisfied with their products.

Here is what I did like:

I loved the smell of each of the three shampoos. Their consistency was smooth and creamy and each one created a good cleansing lather. I felt they all cleaned my hair well without stripping the shine.

The conditioners each left my hair feeling smooth and silky. They too smelled wonderful and left my hair with additional shine and highlights.

An additional little thing that I like about the shampoo and conditioner bottles is that the shampoos all sit with the top upright while the conditioners have the tops facing down. When you are a blinking and rubbing your eyes andfumbling around in the shower, it makes it so easy to tell which product is which without having to read the label.

Suave Professionals Extra Hold Styling Foam is thicker than the usual mousse and as it has managed to tame my frizzies without weighing my very fine hair down too much, it will be replacing my current products. On top of that, it doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy. Way to go Suave!

The hairspray will be replacing my current product, it is that good. One day recently, my Mom commented on my hair and asked what I had done differently. The difference was I had used the Suave Professionals Extra Hold Shaping & Finishing Spray!!

In the past I have used Suave's deodorant and I have to admit, it just did not do the trick when it came to wetness and odor. Well with Suave Naturals Tropical Paradise invisible solid Deodorant, that is no longer true! I have already purchased a full sized version because not only am I in love with the Tropical smell but it controlled my wetness and odor as well or better than some of the much more costly versions on the market.

Truthfully, I found nothing not to like. Each of the product at least met or exceeded my expectations.

Ladies, this is not your Mama's Suave of days past...oh no. This is a new and improved product line that I really do not see ow you can pass up. You don’t have to pay those high prices because the new Suave Professionals totally have your back both in the pocketbook and in quality products. I would recommend these products happily!

Once Upon a Time, Skin MD Was in the House: Product Review and Giveaway

Let me tell you a story.
Once upon a time, long, long, long, lo..(That is ENOUGH Longs )ago, I was born. I had the most fair and delicate skin. It was incredibly soft and almost velvety to the touch.

One day, a new product arrived via special delivery, a product I had never before tried. It was not another cream. It was not another salve. Here is what I found:

While the above tale may seem silly, it is entirely true. The product is a white, nearly odorless lotion, designed for use on all parts of the body. It is fragrance and colorant free, Dermatology tested, Non-comedogenic, Hypoallergenic, Paraben free and is involved with no animal products or testing. Natural products are used to create it, including Chamomile, Aloe Vera, and Vitamin E. It comes packaged in 4 oz. bottles, which is a 1 to 2 month supply with daily use.

Here is what I did like:

There were about a million things I liked about this product. When I put it on my hands, it readily absorbed into my skin, leaving behind no trail of greasy little fingerprints. It was basically odorless, meaning I could use it anytime, anywhere and use it on anyone, including my man (yes, you honey!)
Since it is a skin shielding lotion, it is perfect for my youngest with her dry Asian skin and winter-time eczema. I liked that when I used it on my face, I did not breakout, as I am prone to do. It provided a nice barrier of protection to put on make up over. And I really liked that a little dab'll do ya. Seriously, a dime-sized amount was more than enough for my entire arm. And my last and personal favorite? Instant gratification. (How sad is that?!) I can purchase it online or from any of a number of pharmacies near me, as I choose. Love it!

Here is what I didn't like:

I really have very little to say about what I did not like. It stood up to my rough, dish-pan hands and softened them and met all of my other requests at the same time. The only question that remains is if it is tough enough to take on my feet...but that is a topic for another time, trust me! lol

I am so glad that I tried Skin MD. Some of you know that I have really been concentrating on making myself feel better this summer and an all natural skin care product falls right in line with my new way of living. My skin is the largest organ I have and I probably give it the worst overall care but no more.
