Your little friends there are probably adding a fun new game for the Wii called Build-A-Bear Workshop® A Friend Fur All Seasons.

Designed for ages 3 and up, it is rated 'E' for everyone with a dash of comical mischief thrown in for good measure.

The game is currently available, and has been for a few weeks. You can rush right over and buy one on Amazon.com, at Walmart, Target, Gamespot and most other game retailers for around $39.99, just to make Santa look good.

Of course, what your kiddos do not know is that I have the ability, thanks to Family Review Network , The Game Factory , to give one of these away! That would help ol' Santa out, now wouldn't it?

Way to Go Bloggers!!

Did you know about this - Bloggers Give Back? Am I just slow? (Don't answer that!) I just discovered this great idea that fits right in with my love of GIVING. RookieMom Whitney is who set this all up and here is what she wants this blog to encourage:

When my blog, RookieMoms.com, began to catch the eye of public relations folks who were in search of bloggers who would write about their products, the pitches started rolling in. Many of them are for things that don't interest me, many have been wonderful offers, and all of them have reminded me that I am one of the last people who should be getting free stuff. I have a home, a family, and enough resources to live a comfortable life. I kept thinking about those who are struggling and how frustrated they would be to know that I have been sent Hanes underwear for my son, a photo printer from HP, and parenting books packed with helpful advice.

I have now decided that when possible, I will encourage the company to give whatever they're offering me to someone who really needs it. And, I want to encourage the blogger community to donate their "free stuff" to others as well.

How cool is this? So I just wanted to let more people know. Who knows what we can get going here!

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!

Today is THE Day!! The day we are kicking off our Christmas giveaway event, Because It's Christmas that we are doing as a partnership with Kim and Lori from What's That Smell? The event will be run here, on 3 P's Mama Says..., on 3 P's in a Pod, my Family and Fun Blog, AND on Kim and Lori's What's That Smell? Talk about a party!

Let me give you an intro post about the charities we are supporting and some basic info on our giveaways. The first charity we are supporting is near me hear in Texas. It is the Relief Nursery of Collin County and is located in Plano, Texas. The goal of the Relief Nursery of Collin County is to strengthen families and prevent child abuse.

The second charity we are supporting is located near Kim in Indiana. It is the Household Pantry at the First United Methodist Church in Lowell, Indiana. The Household Pantry provides food and other items for low-income families in the area. We will have more detailed information about these 2 charities in the coming weeks.

Tomorrow - Tuesday, November 11th - we will be starting our giveaways. Woohoo!! We have over 40 individual toys to give away and have divided them into 5 different age groups and created "prize packs." We will be taking entries for these prize packs over the next 3 weeks. Almost every day we will be "unwrapping" a new gift from the prize packs and will be taking entries until Nov. 30th. On Dec. 1st we plan on awarding the prize packs!

The 5 prize packs are as follows:

1. 4 toys for roughly a 9-18 months old age range (boy or girl): Total value ~ $147
2. 5 toys for roughly a 2-3 years old age range (boy or girl): Total value ~ $90
3. 14 toys for roughly a 5 year old (more geared towards boys): Total value ~ $260
4. 10 toys for roughly a 6 year old (more geared towards girls): Total value ~ $220
5. 11 toys for roughly a 7 year old (more geared towards girls): Total value ~ $190

The wonderful sponsors we have lined up are also donating the exact same prizes to be divided up between the charities we have listed above! Isn't that terrific? That means we have over 40 individual toys valued at approximately $900 going to charity! I don't know about you, but that just makes me smile!

When we set out to do a Christmas giveaway, we started with the intent to find toys that will help inspire kid's creativity and encourage their imaginations to flourish in a more natural way. We searched for toys with a message, toys made from natural and organic materials, toys that encourage pretend play, and toys that will last and create lasting memories. Most importantly, we sought out toys that kids would just simply have a great time playing with and we think we have found some of the best toys out there!

It’s that time of year again where the air turns crisp, ghouls and goblins run loose and we all anticipate turkey and the big fat man in the red suit who inevitably arrives SO much faster than we are ready for. The “holiday” season as it is referred to more and more, is a season for family and gift giving, but it is also a time to reflect on the world around us and the needs of others, especially children.
The spirit of Christmas exists in so many wonderful places and in the hearts of most Americans during this time of year, and we are no exception. We - 3 P's Mama Says... and 3 P's in a Pod - have teamed up with Kim and Lori from What's That Smell? for a unique project for this Christmas season.

Our basic plan is to give away toys!

We're giving away toys to our readers but more importantly, we are giving away toys to some needy kids and some very deserving charities.

We are scheduled to begin on November 10th by announcing some great charities and starting the giveaways. We have some fantastic sponsors lined up and are very excited to be able to make Christmas brighter this year for some needy children

This is the prize list for the GROUP 1 PRIZE PACK for our Because It’s Christmas Kids and Charity Giveaway.

Group 1 is geared towards boys or girls 12-18 months old.
