Way to Go Bloggers!!

Did you know about this - Bloggers Give Back? Am I just slow? (Don't answer that!) I just discovered this great idea that fits right in with my love of GIVING. RookieMom Whitney is who set this all up and here is what she wants this blog to encourage:

When my blog, RookieMoms.com, began to catch the eye of public relations folks who were in search of bloggers who would write about their products, the pitches started rolling in. Many of them are for things that don't interest me, many have been wonderful offers, and all of them have reminded me that I am one of the last people who should be getting free stuff. I have a home, a family, and enough resources to live a comfortable life. I kept thinking about those who are struggling and how frustrated they would be to know that I have been sent Hanes underwear for my son, a photo printer from HP, and parenting books packed with helpful advice.

I have now decided that when possible, I will encourage the company to give whatever they're offering me to someone who really needs it. And, I want to encourage the blogger community to donate their "free stuff" to others as well.

How cool is this? So I just wanted to let more people know. Who knows what we can get going here!

I am so excited... I have now been accepted as a member of Parent Reviewers! I am really thrilled with some of the opportunities that I am being blessed with lately and this seems to be another one.

This site allows your blog to be listed with other like-minded reviewers, has information and updates that allow you to be on top of anything new and exciting in the Review industry and gives you an opportunity to review some wonderful products. It is also a way for other parent reviewers to connect and support one another so if this is your field and you have not yet given them a try, by all means do.
