Looks Like a MEGA Party is Planned!

You may have noticed that I recently added this button to my sidebar under Mark Your Calendars Now. Parent Reviewers are one of the great groups that I am lucky enough to do reviews with and do they have a great party planned for YOU!

Their upcoming MEGA Xmas & New Year Giveaway Bash will run from 1st Nov to 31st to Dec 2008. It’s a two months event with a giveaway or more every 3 days and prizes totaling more than $1,200!!! So mark those calendars for sure and I'll see ya there!

What Does Bob the Builder Want to Be When He Grows Up?

That's easy! A K'NEXpert!

Seriously! The 2008 K'NEXpert Search is a contest for builders aged 5 to 12. The idea is to build an original, creative model made entirely from K'NEX. Sounds like a lot of FUN to me! The finished products are judged on creativity, uniqueness and detail, and must fit into one of the following four categories:

A. Futuristic - (Think Space ships, Robots, etc! Use your imagination!)
B. Vehicles - (Cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. If it goes, it will 'fly'!)
C. Amusement Park Thrill Rides (Sounds self explanatory to me:)
D. Ultimate K'NEX Model - Build anything you want with K'NEX Bricks, Standard K'NEX AND Micro K'NEX parts (Must include all 3 types of parts).

That's it! So get those creative juices flowing in those kids of yours (it'll keep them occupied for DAYS!) and let them apply.

WIIFY? (What's in it for you? ...hehehe... made that one up)

Does a $10,000 Savings Bond sound good? That is the Grand Prize! They also have other prizes up for grabs for those creative daredevils who can prove their K'NEXpertise.
