Girls Are Precious!: Precious Girls Club Review & GIVEAWAY

Here at 3 P's Mama Says... you know we think girls are DA BOMB, right? And a constant concern for me as their mama is how to help them grow up with healthy self-esteem and confidence. Well, when I was lucky enough to be sent a box of virtual swag from this summer's BlogHer conference, included was a terrific new product line from Precious Moments, the Precious Girls Club.

Here is a little info from Precious Moments on how this all came to be:

"Since the topic of little girls growing up too fast seems to be a concern for Moms everywhere, Precious Moments®, the inspirational figurine and collectible company, created the Precious Girls Club™ and we're excited to share it with you! More than a club, it's a way of thinking and being, a safe place for young girls to discover how wonderful it is to be precious.

The Precious Girls Club is based on an all new book series for girls that revolves around the life of Katie Bennett and a diverse group of her friends. Their world is brought to life not only through books, but also through a state-of-the-art virtual world where your daughter can learn and play in a safe, wholesome environment based on the values embraced by Precious Moments.

On our website, PGC members create their own characters (or "avatars"), decorate their rooms, explore our town, socialize, play games and even shop "virtually" using the points they earn on the site. PGC games reinforce such virtues as helpfulness, kindness, responsibility, loving and caring. In addition to points, many activities award "virtual" virtue charms. And, it's all fun!

They have coloring books, charm bracelets and more, all to support the line. The first book is called, A Little Bit of Faith and we loved reading it together.

Here is a little bit about Katie and A Little Bit of Faith:

Katie Bennett is new in town...and just can’t seem to make friends. But she does have one very angelic best friend -- Faith. The problem is, no one else can see her! When Katie’s mom and aunt suggest that she start the Precious Girls Club, Katie needs a little bit of faith to believe in herself. Will she be able to convince the girls at her school to attend? Maybe if she puts up bright posters...makes pretty friendship bracelets...or lets it slip (oops!) that she has her very own guardian angel...Find out how Katie discovers that a little bit of faith can help her overcome big challenges. A Little Bit of Faith is the first book in a new series that celebrates the special gifts that make each girl precious "in His sight."

They are currently in the process of creating Book #2 and my girls and I cannot wait to find out what Katie will be up to next!

If you would like to print some coloring pages for your kiddos to go along with the PGC, go HERE, HERE, and HERE.

Also, I have 5, yes five copies of A Little Bit of Faith to give away to 5 lucky readers, compliments of MomSelect! If you are like me and already thinking about Christmas, this would be perfect!

We enjoyed the 'Game Castle' and the craft section on the Precious Girls Club site. The bright graphics and colors used on the site are very appealing as well.
